On 9 April 2024, Corrado Fizzarotti and Tiziano Distefano were speakers at Economia, ecologia e conflitti sociali, part of the first Se questo è un Homo series at CRO Darsene in Viareggio. Gianluca Venturini moderated the meeting.
The programme’s subtitle, “Our species’ difficult relationship with the natural world”, foregrounds connections between social life and environmental change. The discussion brings philosophical questions about the human place in nature into contact with issues of social and ecological justice.
The poster places this event within a multidisciplinary exploration of different dimensions of human existence.
